Nicasio Abad showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Imre Herceg in the 2nd minute of the match. The supporters of Várdomb booed when Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alonzo Gomesano didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Várdomb's Mendiko Angles tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Wu Hao Xu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marciano Marino was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. Olaf Wieczorek took the ball and in the 12 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nicasio Abad. Nicasio Abad dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Joel Enekoitz's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marciano Marino read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gergely Zornánszky, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Wu Hao Xu in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marciano Marino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 18th minute of the match Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ got a corner. Várdomb's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Timoteo Fiz ran over to the corner to take the kick. Nicasio Abad showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neymar Da Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. In the 21st minute Gergely Zornánszky shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nicasio Abad saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the match, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Wu Hao Xu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Marciano Marino narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 25 minutes had been played when some careless play by Várdomb's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Timoteo Fiz was slow to take the kick. During this time Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s players had a chance to rest. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Berkan Tufan managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Imre Herceg in the 27 minute of the game. In the 29th minute of the match, Wu Hao Xu tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Marciano Marino saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Marciano Marino stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wu Hao Xu's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ were awarded a corner in the 39th minute after Várdomb's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Timoteo Fiz took the corner. Marciano Marino made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lei Jian Xiong in the 41st minute of play. With 43 minutes on the clock, Jaime Iago commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. Jaime Iago hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 44th minute of the match Mendiko Angles sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nicasio Abad skillfully saved the ball. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Wu Hao Xu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marciano Marino having to interfere. Joel Enekoitz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Cai Wei Xi was substituted for Lei Jian Xiong. Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Gökçe Yalazalp was substituted for Wu Hao Xu. 59 minutes into the game, Doriva Furlan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Várdomb's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥ the free kick. Doriva Furlan kicked well hit freekick during the 59th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Monterrey ante el Mundo⛥'s Gökçe Yalazalp got a free kick in the 74th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gergely Zornánszky got free with Nicasio Abad in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After taking down the ball on Várdomb's corner Mendiko Angles fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Nicasio Abad quite easily take care of the ball. Doriva Furlan hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Thanks to Várdomb's goalie finding himself so far out he could grab the ball Joel Enekoitz tried to make a shot after getting passed the defense. Marciano Marino seemed to really have strength and confidence after that save. After 93 minutes Várdomb's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Timoteo Fiz who took care of the corner kick.
