Allan Blom was slow to take the kick. During this time SAN LORENZO FC's players had a chance to rest. Dario Astigar was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eddie Arenberg showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 31 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

FC Jamala's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
