In the 5th match minute, MALAIA FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mazinho Correia to maneuver through the defense. Celso Barral showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Neycho Mudrov, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgar Tasso in the 8th minute of play forced Capivara FC's goalkeeper Péter Pálffy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. MALAIA FDFDF's Celso Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neycho Mudrov in the 19th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Neycho Mudrov in the 23rd minute of play forced MALAIA FDFDF's goalkeeper Celso Barral to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Péter Pálffy made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Romildo Binder sent off a good shot on target. Romildo Binder's late challenge caught a Capivara FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Romildo Binder helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st match minute, MALAIA FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Romildo Binder to maneuver through the defense. Celso Barral came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Capivara FC's Neycho Mudrov. But to his dismay, Neycho Mudrov quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Péter Pálffy made an important save on a dangerous shot by José Maria Rosa in the 42nd minute. Celso Barral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Godwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After the first half Capivara FC were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when José Maria Rosa made the kick off in the second half. Valério Saraiva charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valério Saraiva the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Capivara FC's Doriva Tavares was substituted for Neycho Mudrov. Doriva Tavares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 61 minutes into the game, Edgar Tasso cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Péter Pálffy was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vinícius Junior's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Celso Barral firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Capivara FC's Doriva Tavares in the 67th minute got a chance for a shot 67th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye MALAIA FDFDF's goalie prevented a goal. 71 minutes into the match, MALAIA FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Mitchell Godwin came free, but Celso Barral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Edgar Tasso's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Péter Pálffy was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Celso Barral made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Ragnar Stigsson sent off a good shot on target. Celso Barral was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ragnar Stigsson showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 83 minute of play. With a little luck, MALAIA FDFDF's Celso Barral got control of the ball when Manoel Garrincha tried to sneak it across the goal line. Celso Barral made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ragnar Stigsson in the 87th minute. Mitchell Godwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Celso Barral made a huge save. Edgar Tasso kicked well hit freekick during the 97th minute of the match. Mitchell Godwins short, quick shot in the 98thth minute got Celso Barral to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Capivara FC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
