Mitchell Godwin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Bartosz Rusin made a huge save. Bogumil Andrzejewski made in the 15th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Vinícius Junior however managed to control. Hugó Révész took the ball and in the 25 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Péter Pálffy. Péter Pálffy dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Péter Pálffy showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugó Révész, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Keszi Athletic's Bartosz Rusin proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Keszi Athletic from getting a goal against them. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hugó Révész made a kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Keszi Athletic's goal looked a bit too open when Vinícius Junior came free, but Bartosz Rusin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Keszi Athletic's Bartosz Rusin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Neycho Mudrov in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, Capivara FC's Péter Pálffy got control of the ball when Hugó Révész tried to sneak it across the goal line. Péter Pálffy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vaios Vourtzoumis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 65 played minutes Keszi Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Vaios Vourtzoumis. Keszi Athletic's Márton Lengyel was substituted for Özkan İlhan. In the 66th minute, Vaios Vourtzoumis hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Vinícius Junior got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Capivara FC's zone, 于平辰 stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Péter Pálffy came out of the goal and 于平辰 tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Bartosz Rusin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mitchell Godwin's shot from short distance in the 79th minute. Bartosz Rusin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mitchell Godwin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mitchell Godwin in the 80th minute of play forced Keszi Athletic's goalkeeper Bartosz Rusin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 82nd match minute, Keszi Athletic was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vaios Vourtzoumis to maneuver through the defense. After 83 played minutes Keszi Athletic got a freekick which was hit by Vaios Vourtzoumis. Keszi Athletic's Bartosz Rusin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitchell Godwin in the 87th minute of play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Keszi Athletic fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 95th minute. Penalty! Doriva Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 99th minute. Bartosz Rusin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Capivara FC manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Keszi Athletic to win.
