The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alvaro Raymond blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Styrbjörn Stokken having to make a save. Styrbjörn Stokken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alvaro Raymond in the 4th minute of the match. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lambis Kazantzakoglou didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 7th minute of the match Despidida AFC got a corner. GREEK ARMY's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emanuel Lucila ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aris Skilas tried in the 8th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Styrbjörn Stokken a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. 11 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Styrbjörn Stokken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alvaro Raymond struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Styrbjörn Stokken didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Despidida AFC. Kajetan Gdowik might have been able to make a better finish in the 15th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Styrbjörn Stokken. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kajetan Gdowik ran back to his position shaking his head. If Jardel Sergipano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ksawery Gall hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute Alvaro Raymond shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Styrbjörn Stokken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 24 minutes, Alvaro Raymond managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Despidida AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alvaro Raymond was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Ksawery Gall fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored GREEK ARMY's protests and gave Ksawery Gall a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Despidida AFC booed when GREEK ARMY was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ksawery Gall didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alvaro Raymond in the 27th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. GREEK ARMY's Ksawery Gall got his second yellow card of the match in the 29th minute. The referee ordered Ksawery Gall off the ground. After a rather tough play, GREEK ARMY's Ksawery Gall got a free kick in the 30th minute. Styrbjörn Stokken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alvaro Raymond, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, GREEK ARMY's goal looked a bit too open when Alvaro Raymond came free, but Styrbjörn Stokken reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alvaro Raymond got free with Styrbjörn Stokken in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 43rd minute the ball was on its way in behind GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Alvaro Raymond was the one to do the kick off. Jardel Sergipano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 50th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alvaro Raymond took the ball and in the 57 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Styrbjörn Stokken. Styrbjörn Stokken dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Robert Percha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Styrbjörn Stokken having to interfere. GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robert Percha in the 88th minute of play. Robert Percha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 92nd match minute, GREEK ARMY was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Grigoris Karagiotakis to maneuver through the defense. Despidida AFC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
