After 3 minutes, Vlassis Mellios mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GREEK ARMY and the BuanaRaya players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 3 played minutes GREEK ARMY got a freekick which was hit by Vlassis Mellios. Styrbjörn Stokken made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Grigoris Katsafanas sent off a good shot on target. After 6 minutes GREEK ARMY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeronimo Txatxu who took care of the corner kick. Cătălin Ostoici showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jardel Sergipano in the 9th minute of the match. Jeronimo Txatxu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Styrbjörn Stokken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Grigoris Katsafanas's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 12thth minute, Styrbjörn Stokken skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Styrbjörn Stokken stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jeronimo Txatxu's shot from short distance in the 15th minute. Grigoris Katsafanas in the 16thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Styrbjörn Stokken, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Katsafanas in the 18th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 19 minutes GREEK ARMY's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jeronimo Txatxu who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Jeronimo Txatxu almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken did a great save. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ahmet Ceyhan İlmi in the 29th minute of play. Styrbjörn Stokken showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Iago Romero in the 32nd minute of the match. Styrbjörn Stokken had great luck who in the 32ndth minute grab hold of the ball when Iago Romero from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Lambis Kazantzakoglou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cătălin Ostoici having to interfere. In the 39thth minute of the game Grigoris Katsafanas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but GREEK ARMY's Styrbjörn Stokken was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Styrbjörn Stokken showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Txatxu, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Styrbjörn Stokken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jeronimo Txatxu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When GREEK ARMY's Jardel Sergipano in the 42nd minute got a chance for a shot 42nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye BuanaRaya's goalie prevented a goal. A collision led to GREEK ARMY getting a freekick after 44 minutes play. Vlassis Mellios hit a great ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Jeronimo Txatxu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. BuanaRaya's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeronimo Txatxu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 46th minute Grigoris Katsafanas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Styrbjörn Stokken saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Grigoris Katsafanas made a kick off. In the 52nd match minute, BuanaRaya was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iago Romero to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigoris Katsafanas in the 56th minute of play forced GREEK ARMY's goalkeeper Styrbjörn Stokken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grigoris Karagiotakis kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Styrbjörn Stokken was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The BuanaRaya fans cheered their team off the field, for while GREEK ARMY had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
