Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Xavies Muñagorri made the kick off which started today's match. FC Bruges's Luc Van Hinnendael played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teobald Karanewski in the 5th minute of play. In the 9th minute Carl Van Kamp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Călin Ghioncu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the match, FC Bruges's goal looked a bit too open when Stefan Dobay came free, but Luc Van Hinnendael reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luc Van Hinnendael took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stefan Dobay, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 23 played minutes FC Bruges got a freekick which was hit by Philip Verhasselt. The throw-in from Lasse Kroner in the 26th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Carpathians's Ercan Sabahaddin. Carpathians's Stefan Dobay got a good chance for a goal in the 28th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 31st minute of the match Carpathians got a corner. FC Bruges's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Connor Hughes ran over to the corner to take the kick. Shane Corrigan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Călin Ghioncu made a huge save. In the 38th minute, Teobald Karanewski made a precise shot to the right of Luc Van Hinnendael. FC Bruges's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shane Corrigan in the 42nd minute of play forced Carpathians's goalkeeper Călin Ghioncu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mac Mon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Ghioncu having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Carpathians were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after FC Bruges's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Connor Hughes took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Constantin Bot managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. In the 93rd minute, Troizen Giannakopoulos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
