Keilor Navas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. After 14 played minutes FC Kyustendil got a freekick which was hit by Hendro Alexander. In the 15th minute, Jakub Molnár got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Pardubice Hurricanes's Přemek Ouředník played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Fernandes in the 18th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lautaro Martines in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Přemek Ouředník saved Pardubice Hurricanes from getting behind. A collision led to FC Kyustendil getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Hendro Alexander hit a great ball. Keilor Navas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jakub Molnár, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Svatomír Krajíček fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 23rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Keilor Navas having to interfere. Přemek Ouředník showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Oskar Lindqvist in the 25th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jakub Molnár in the 26th minute of play forced FC Kyustendil's goalkeeper Keilor Navas to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Pardubice Hurricanes had won after a very even match.
