In the 3rd match minute, FC Bodil United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Du Xiang Yue to maneuver through the defense. Velez Sarsfield's defense didn't have a chance, in the 5th minute, when Simon Gahnsby scored to the left of an out of position Teodosio Sergi, making the score, 1-0. Augusto Cordario might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Valeriu Hoisie. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Augusto Cordario ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Cordario in the 8th minute of play forced FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Valeriu Hoisie to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Teodosio Sergi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Simon Gahnsby showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-0 in the 14 minute of play. With a little luck, Velez Sarsfield's Teodosio Sergi got control of the ball when Simon Gahnsby tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 20 played minutes FC Bodil United got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Kvarnström. In the 21st minute, Ignacio Berenguer sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and FC Bodil United's Valeriu Hoisie didn't even have to move. FC Bodil United's attentive Joakim Kjellberg managed to snatch the ball when Sun Zhi Zhen made a throw-in in the 28th minute of the game. 29 minutes into the match, Simon Gahnsby dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Teodosio Sergi, 3-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Simon Gahnsby got free with Teodosio Sergi in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Simon Gahnsby could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 36th minute of the match, but Teodosio Sergi made a huge save. Simon Gahnsby's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Teodosio Sergi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. Teodosio Sergi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Simon Gahnsby in the 40th minute of play. Valeriu Hoisie stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Augusto Cordario's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Augusto Cordario to make the kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Simon Gahnsby notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of Velez Sarsfield's Teodosio Sergi. Teodosio Sergi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Ivan Nyberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Bodil United's supporters rose to their feet, but Ivan Nyberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Teodosio Sergi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. FC Bodil United's Rod Marsland was substituted for Simon Gahnsby. FC Bodil United's Ronny Jansson was substituted for Patrik Wallin. Velez Sarsfield's Teodosio Sergi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rod Marsland in the 67th minute of play. Augusto Cordario's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Valeriu Hoisie firmly grabbed it by the left post. Velez Sarsfield's Leandro Berti was substituted for Ignacio Berenguer. Velez Sarsfield made a substitution. Mart Laar replaced Marcos Pacifico. After 77 played minutes FC Bodil United got a freekick which was hit by Fredrik Kvarnström. Valeriu Hoisie showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olliver Van Meirhaeghe, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. 87 minutes into the match, FC Bodil United's goalkeeper Valeriu Hoisie had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Cordario. After 95 minutes of play, Velez Sarsfield's Augusto Cordario made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Valeriu Hoisie was left in no man's land by his defense there! For all the effort they put into the match, the Velez Sarsfield players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for FC Bodil United.
