Arkadiusz Smolarek didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zé Tola went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. In the 14th minute, Zé Tola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 郝皓林 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryszard Murdza in the 16th minute of the match. Ovidio Bautista fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arkadiusz Smolarek having to interfere. Holfenhein's 郝皓林 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimo Toresano in the 21st minute of play. Ricardo Novais made in the 23rd minute of the game a quick throw-in and Ryszard Murdza immediately put the ball in play. After having played for 26 minutes, Zé Tola managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Holfenhein's supporters crossed their fingers, but Zé Tola was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zé Tola sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Ryszard Murdza's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but 郝皓林 read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 36th minute of play. Holfenhein's 郝皓林 played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dimo Toresano in the 38th minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Katowice i Kluczbork's goalkeeper Arkadiusz Smolarek had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Zé Tola. The audience was convinced that Zé Tola's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arkadiusz Smolarek was relentless in the 44th minute of the game. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zé Tola to strike the kick off in the second half. After 53 minutes Holfenhein's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Julian Jaszcz who took care of the corner kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dimo Toresano in the 55th minute of play forced Holfenhein's goalkeeper 郝皓林 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 58th minute, Katowice i Kluczbork's Dimo Toresano dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-1. Holfenhein's Ovidio Bautista managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Artur Zajonc in the 62 minute of the game. In the 64th minute of the match Holfenhein got a corner. Katowice i Kluczbork's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ovidio Bautista ran over to the corner to take the kick. The supporters of Katowice i Kluczbork booed when Holfenhein was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wilson Ramalho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Osvaldinho Lewandowski could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but 郝皓林 made a huge save. Börje Wenerdahl sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Arkadiusz Smolarek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zé Tola in the 85th minute of the match. If Osvaldinho Lewandowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Börje Wenerdahl might have been able to make a better finish in the 90th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arkadiusz Smolarek. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Börje Wenerdahl ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Holfenhein getting a freekick after 92 minutes play. Matei Rușanu hit a great ball. In the 94th minute of the match, Gwidon Niedbalski tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but 郝皓林 saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gwidon Niedbalski in the 95th minute of play forced Holfenhein's goalkeeper 郝皓林 to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
