Franco Armani took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hector Hugo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurel Crivoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcelo Gallardo, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. Marius Neset took the ball and in the 28 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Franco Armani. Franco Armani dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. 34 minutes into the match, Adrogue FC's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Hugo came free, but Franco Armani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

With a little luck, Adrogue FC's Franco Armani got control of the ball when Radomil Michnik tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aurel Crivoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Pablo Angel in the 80th minute of play. Franco Armani showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Hermansson in the 81st minute of the match.
