Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cristian Hoffmann started the match with the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Glen Conklin in the 2nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kuno Heiberg saved Pendotiba from getting behind. In the 4th minute, New England Minas's Edgardo Silva ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kuno Heiberg. Kuno Heiberg yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Oscar Nordmark's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Kuno Heiberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. After 12 minutes of play, New England Minas's Tony Pacheco made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kuno Heiberg was left in no man's land by his defense there! 25 minutes into the match, Pendotiba's goalkeeper Kuno Heiberg had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Tony Pacheco. Kuno Heiberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edgardo Silva in the 32nd minute of the match. Kuno Heiberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Tony Pacheco could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 40th minute of the match, but Kuno Heiberg made a huge save. The corner led to New England Minas's Tony Pacheco getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. After 46 played minutes New England Minas got a freekick which was hit by Tony Pacheco. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Edgardo Silva was the one to do the kick off. Kuno Heiberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 55th minute of the match Allan Arruda sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jeremy Nicholas skillfully saved the ball. New England Minas made a substitution. Zachery Church replaced Roman Major. In the 62nd match minute, Pendotiba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Laércio Soeiro to maneuver through the defense. New England Minas's Tio Lio got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kuno Heiberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edgardo Silva, who was totally free with the ball in the 64th minute. After some careless play in the Pendotiba defense, Edgardo Silva kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kuno Heiberg. The Pendotiba fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kuno Heiberg should have stopped the shot. Edgardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cristian Hoffmann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kuno Heiberg made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edgardo Silva in the 77th minute of play. Pendotiba's Kuno Heiberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tony Pacheco in the 91st minute of play. Kuno Heiberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Pacheco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edgardo Silva in the 94th minute of play forced Pendotiba's goalkeeper Kuno Heiberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
