In the 17th minute Hector Hugo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeremy Nicholas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Edgardo Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 44th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK's goalkeeper Aurel Crivoi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 45th match minute, Hudiksvalls Sjöbodar BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marius Neset to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Tony Pacheco kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Aurel Crivoi. That made the score 1-1 in the 48 minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hector Hugo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hector Hugo in the 54th minute of play. Jeremy Nicholas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Hugo, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. New England Minas's Arturo Sito was substituted for Tio Lio. With a little luck, New England Minas's Jeremy Nicholas got control of the ball when David Israel Blue tried to sneak it across the goal line. Jeremy Nicholas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Hermansson in the 91st minute of the match. The attack was good, but when Arturo Sito in the 93rd minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Through an outstanding action, after 95 minutes, Jeremy Nicholas successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post.
