It was Bertil Ekström who took care of the corner kick. Boleslaw Dres in the 39thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Tomas Brandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ari Hakanpää in the 56th minute of play. The supporters of Stal Sanok booed when Alianza Trujillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Constantino Dean didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 94 played minutes Stal Sanok got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Nicuşor. Szilveszter Szegh, 94 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. If Cihat Cevval had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alianza Trujillo's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
