Qiao Si Chao made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Santo Libertad sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Darryl Buckner in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Qiao Si Chao saved Leader of Lemurs from getting behind. When Edgar Gacek came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Leader of Lemurs fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Gacek couldn't finish the play. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie and right to Su Xu Xi. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. 23 minutes into the match, Leader of Lemurs's Su Xu Xi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Victoriano Bernaldo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Wei Li got a free kick in the 25th minute. A collision led to Leader of Lemurs getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Su Xu Xi in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victoriano Bernaldo prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The corner ended in Xie Xuan Li almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo did a great save. In the 32nd minute of the match Leader of Lemurs got a corner. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edgar Gacek ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Edgar Gacek almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo did a great save. When Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner in the 35th minute got a chance for a shot 35th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Leader of Lemurs's goalie prevented a goal. Victoriano Bernaldo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Irjat Çeka in the 40th minute of play. 44 minutes into the match, Leader of Lemurs's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Buckner came free, but Qiao Si Chao reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Su Xu Xi was the one to do the kick off. Petro Shenaj sent away a hard shot on goal in the 52nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Qiao Si Chao didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Darryl Buckner went, in the 54th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Victoriano Bernaldo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 89th minute of the match, managed to save Dep Colonia Avellaneda from getting a goal against them. In the 91st minute, Mariglen Zhiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Qiao Si Chao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Darryl Buckner in the 92nd minute of the match. When Darryl Buckner fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dep Colonia Avellaneda's protests and gave Darryl Buckner a yellow card for diving instead. In the 94th minute, Darryl Buckner hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Su Xu Xi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 95th minute of the match, but Victoriano Bernaldo made a huge save. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
