PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's José Luis Sierra was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Victoriano Bernaldo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. With an all-out effort, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Guntademaro Macera threw himself towards the right post 20 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Darryl Buckner, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Victoriano Bernaldo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Colle in the 21st minute of the match. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC made a substitution. Martin Viñe replaced Bernardo Colle. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Darryl Buckner made a kick off. In the 53rd match minute, Dep Colonia Avellaneda was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leopoldo Rosa to maneuver through the defense. 56 minutes into the match, PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's goal looked a bit too open when Darryl Buckner came free, but Guntademaro Macera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Martin Viñe blasted a shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Victoriano Bernaldo having to make a save. Martin Viñe could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 72nd minute of the match, but Victoriano Bernaldo made a huge save. After a defensive mix-up in Dep Colonia Avellaneda's zone, Martin Viñe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Victoriano Bernaldo came out of the goal and Martin Viñe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 89 minutes into the match, Dep Colonia Avellaneda's goalkeeper Victoriano Bernaldo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Luis Sierra. PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC's Ernesto Daniel Schele managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Mariano Silbestre in the 91 minute of the game. Dep Colonia Avellaneda's Darryl Buckner got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The PELOTEROS 8°B 2003 FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
