Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Benicio Balasi made the kick off which started today's match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benicio Balasi during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 2nd minute, Benicio Balasi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. CA Quake's Silverio Cordearo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kevin Keegan in the 3rd minute of play. In the 5th minute, Benicio Balasi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olov Wahlnäs was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. CA Quake's Cayetano Aznaro pulled a muscle in his leg after 8 minutes and couldn't finish the game. After 8 minutes, Krister Uggstedt mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Skövde AIK and the CA Quake players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 9 played minutes Skövde AIK got a freekick which was hit by Krister Uggstedt. 12 minutes into the match, Skövde AIK's goalkeeper Olov Wahlnäs had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Benicio Balasi. After a defensive mix-up in Skövde AIK's zone, Vinicio Abeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Wahlnäs came out of the goal and Vinicio Abeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 22 minutes, Benicio Balasi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CA Quake's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benicio Balasi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Chen Ao Fan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 33 minutes into the game, Skövde AIK's Kurt Hamrin nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Silverio Cordearo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Hjalmar Hägert charged in rather forcefully in the 35th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hjalmar Hägert the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a defensive mix-up in Skövde AIK's zone, Vinicio Abeitia stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olov Wahlnäs came out of the goal and Vinicio Abeitia tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Vinicio Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Chen Ao Fan was the one to do the kick off. Olov Wahlnäs didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benicio Balasi went, in the 53rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Silverio Cordearo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kurt Hamrin in the 57th minute of the match. In the 69th match minute, Skövde AIK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Krister Uggstedt to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Skövde AIK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Krister Uggstedt hit a great ball. Olov Wahlnäs stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Benicio Balasi's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. Kevin Keegan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Benicio Balasi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 77th minute. Olov Wahlnäs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silverio Cordearo made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Krister Uggstedt sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chen Ao Fan in the 84th minute of play forced CA Quake's goalkeeper Silverio Cordearo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Silverio Cordearo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kurt Hamrin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 86th match minute, CA Quake was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benicio Balasi to maneuver through the defense. When Filip Brolin fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Skövde AIK's protests and gave Filip Brolin a yellow card for diving instead. Filip Brolin kicked well hit freekick during the 93rd minute of the match.
