The audience thought a goal was coming when Antti Ani got free with Hans-Joachim Amerhauser in the 3rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rıza Vuralhan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Karl-Michael Almqvist in the 6th minute of play. If Antti Ani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Edgar Ciolofan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 18 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's Argyris Papapetrou sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Hans-Joachim Amerhauser narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 28thth minute of the game Argyris Papapetrou who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Forza Heppenbach's Hans-Joachim Amerhauser was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After 29 minutes Forza Heppenbach's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Mao Jun Yun who took care of the corner kick. Strömsbro IF's Mao Jun Yun was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Hans-Joachim Amerhauser in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Argyris Papapetrou did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-0 to the left of a surprised Hans-Joachim Amerhauser 41 minutes into the match. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karl-Michael Almqvist in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Fang Bin Tian stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Rıza Vuralhan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stephan Appiah, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. 55 minutes into the game, one of Forza Heppenbach:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Forza Heppenbach:s Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed great skill when he stopped Karl-Michael Kristiansson:s penalty. When Karl-Michael Kristiansson fell near the penalty area in the 57th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Strömsbro IF's protests and gave Karl-Michael Kristiansson a yellow card for diving instead. In the 57th minute, Karl-Michael Kristiansson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 62 minutes into the match, Strömsbro IF's goalkeeper Rıza Vuralhan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stephan Appiah. Rıza Vuralhan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Michael Almqvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rıza Vuralhan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stephan Appiah in the 75th minute. After 77 played minutes Forza Heppenbach got a freekick which was hit by Yanick Celis. Mao Jun Yun recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd rose to their feet as Forza Heppenbach's Stephan Appiah slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Rıza Vuralhan. That made the score 1-1 after 82 minutes of play. Hans-Joachim Amerhauser showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Georg Glad, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Argyris Papapetrou came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Strömsbro IF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Argyris Papapetrou couldn't finish the play. Strömsbro IF's Rıza Vuralhan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Strömsbro IF from getting a goal against them. Brent Desmet kicked well hit freekick during the 98th minute of the match. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
