Isaltino Couto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Albano Leizarraga in the 6th minute of the match. Jeremias Velloso had several of the Garanhão do SUL's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 10 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 1-0 score and a disappointed Ignatius Casasola as he didn't even see the shot coming. 17 minutes into the match, Danone CC's goal looked a bit too open when Torcato Rebocho came free, but Isaltino Couto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Diguinho Teles in the 20thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Ignatius Casasola, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After 22 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Garanhão do SUL! Garanhão do SUL:s Ignatius Casasola showed great skill when he stopped Maurício Rodrigues:s penalty. After some careless play in the Garanhão do SUL defense, Maurício Rodrigues kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ignatius Casasola. The Garanhão do SUL fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ignatius Casasola should have stopped the shot. Jeremias Velloso took the ball and in the 29 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignatius Casasola. Ignatius Casasola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. With a little luck, Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola got control of the ball when Enéas Carneiro tried to sneak it across the goal line. Danone CC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Maurício Rodrigues in the 39th minute. Isaltino Couto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Albano Leizarraga's shot from short distance in the 48th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diguinho Teles made a kick off. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jeremias Velloso in the 56th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Diguinho Teles in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ignatius Casasola saved Garanhão do SUL from getting behind. Danone CC's Isaltino Couto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albano Leizarraga in the 59th minute of play. Isaltino Couto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albano Leizarraga in the 68th minute of play. Edgar Costa who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 75thth minute tested the skills of Isaltino Couto when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 77th minute, Albano Leizarraga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albano Leizarraga to maneuver through the defense. Albano Leizarraga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Isaltino Couto having to interfere. If Torcato Rebocho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Diguinho Teles in the 95th minute of play forced Garanhão do SUL's goalkeeper Ignatius Casasola to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Danone CC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
