Garanhão do SUL's Ignatius Casasola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emery Heller in the 6th minute of play. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Téo Rosa in the 8th minute of the match. Emery Heller took the ball and in the 9 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ignatius Casasola. Ignatius Casasola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Ignatius Casasola made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Emery Heller sent off a good shot on target. Angel Edorta hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emery Heller in the 23rd minute of play. If Torcato Rebocho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Edgar Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Paly saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ezio Gøl, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. In the 33rd minute of the match FC Wil 1900 got a corner. Garanhão do SUL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Emery Heller ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on FC Wil 1900's corner Emery Heller fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Ignatius Casasola quite easily take care of the ball. When FC Wil 1900's Téo Rosa in the 34th minute got a chance for a shot 34th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Garanhão do SUL's goalie prevented a goal. Garanhão do SUL's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Akis Kefallinos in the 37th minute. Akis Kefallinos made a great header on Garanhão do SUL's corner, it was just that FC Wil 1900's Lionel Paly managed to reach the ball for a save. Ignatius Casasola was a little too slow when Téo Rosa got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 43rd minute. The score was now 2-0. In the 45th match minute, Garanhão do SUL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by André Roriz to maneuver through the defense. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When André Roriz fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Garanhão do SUL's protests and gave André Roriz a yellow card for diving instead. After 51 played minutes Garanhão do SUL got a freekick which was hit by André Roriz. Ignatius Casasola showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Téo Rosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. The supporters of Garanhão do SUL booed when FC Wil 1900 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Okaner Verim didn't get a good kick on the ball. Lionel Paly took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torcato Rebocho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ignatius Casasola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pirmin Jäggi in the 57th minute of the match. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ezio Gøl in the 58th minute of play. 60 minutes into the match, Garanhão do SUL's goal looked a bit too open when Pirmin Jäggi came free, but Ignatius Casasola reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Torcato Rebocho charged in rather forcefully in the 61st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Torcato Rebocho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 67 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Roriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Wil 1900 made a substitution. Alex Leisibach replaced Ezio Gøl. Garanhão do SUL's Obafemi Fabiani was substituted for André Roriz. The supporters of FC Wil 1900 booed when Garanhão do SUL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Roriz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albano Leizarraga's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Lionel Paly firmly grabbed it by the left post. Lionel Paly acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 78th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Akis Kefallinos. Ignatius Casasola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Dové in the 79th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Pirmin Jäggi ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ignatius Casasola was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. In the 89th minute Alex Leisibach shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ignatius Casasola saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 93 minutes into the game, Alex Leisibach cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Ignatius Casasola was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. There was no doubt that FC Wil 1900 were the better team. FC Wil 1900's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
