After having played for 4 minutes, Severiano Taurino managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Deportivo Balvanera's supporters crossed their fingers, but Severiano Taurino was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Christos Bartzokas in the 6thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Abel Neron, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 8th minute Cristobal Hulberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Manuel Campens saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the game, Deportivo Balvanera's Lisandro López nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Manuel Campens made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Abel Neron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christos Bartzokas in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes into the match, Deportivo Balvanera's goal looked a bit too open when Uwe Birmes came free, but Abel Neron reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Abel Neron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Christos Bartzokas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Deportivo Balvanera's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pagos FC the free kick. Adolfo Poz hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Christos Bartzokas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 21st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 22nd minute, Uwe Birmes made a precise shot to the right of Abel Neron. Deportivo Balvanera's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. With a little luck, Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron got control of the ball when Christos Bartzokas tried to sneak it across the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lisandro López stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uwe Birmes in the 56th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Deportivo Balvanera's Fabricio Errapel got a free kick in the 57th minute. Francisco Montae went to the cornerflag to take it. Pagos FC's Francisco Montae was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Abel Neron in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Mjölnir Martelo might have been able to make a better finish in the 86th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Abel Neron. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mjölnir Martelo ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mjölnir Martelo in the 90th minute of play forced Deportivo Balvanera's goalkeeper Abel Neron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 93 minutes into the match, Nuralp Akbal had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Abel Neron. Deportivo Balvanera's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Nuralp Akbal was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-1. Deportivo Balvanera's Abel Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nuralp Akbal in the 96th minute of play. After some careless play in the Deportivo Balvanera defense, Mjölnir Martelo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Abel Neron. The Deportivo Balvanera fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Abel Neron should have stopped the shot. Pagos FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
