Runa United's Nils-Erik Åhlberg played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Visen Allu in the 3rd minute of play. Visen Allu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils-Erik Åhlberg read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Ekgren came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 11th match minute, Runa United was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joel Andreasson to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 14 minutes, Visen Allu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Altermundi FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Visen Allu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Visen Allu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Thanks to some nice moves Visen Allu could shoot a difficult shot in the 16th minute, which Nils-Erik Åhlberg however easily saved by the left post. Nils-Erik Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sergiu Zgrăbunţa, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Altermundi FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Seran Torrijo hit a great ball. Visen Allu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 22nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Visen Allu who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 34thth minute tested the skills of Nils-Erik Åhlberg when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 41 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ted Almstedt came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Candido Piedra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joel Andreasson in the 43rd minute of play. Seran Torrijo hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Joel Andreasson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Candido Piedra was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Harry Boumans made the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Altermundi FC got a freekick which was hit by Visen Allu. Candido Piedra made a fantastic save in the 56th minute, when Harry Boumans sent off a good shot on target. 58 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joel Andreasson. 60 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Boumans came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harry Boumans in the 63rd minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Candido Piedra to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Visen Allu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nils-Erik Åhlberg having to make a save. Runa United's Harry Boumans was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 71st play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Candido Piedra made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Joel Andreasson sent off a good shot on target. 80 minutes into the match, Altermundi FC's goal looked a bit too open when Harry Boumans came free, but Candido Piedra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joel Andreasson got free with Candido Piedra in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nils-Erik Åhlberg came out of the goal in the 87th minute to try and stop a shot by Altermundi FC's Sergiu Zgrăbunţa. But to his dismay, Sergiu Zgrăbunţa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. The supporters of Altermundi FC booed when Runa United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 94 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tommy Ekgren didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nils-Erik Åhlberg took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerónimo Molina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
