Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The wind increased when Arvid Carlsson made the kick off in the second half. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 57th minute of the game. One of Espen Steelers:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Linköpings AIK:s goal. Gregor Kobel had in the 59thth minute some difficulties stopping Julien Staffelbach's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Espen Steelers's defense didn't have a chance, in the 63rd minute, when Albin Nilsson scored to the left of an out of position Gregor Kobel, making the score, 1-3. Julien Staffelbach fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gregor Kobel having to interfere. Jimmy Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alain Berset, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Linköpings AIK's George Gunnarsson was substituted for Joakim Mikaelsson. Arvid Carlsson hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. In the 81st minute George Gunnarsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Arvid Carlsson who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 89thth minute tested the skills of Gregor Kobel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Espen Steelers's Williams Imholz got a free kick in the 89th minute. 93 minutes into the game, Linköpings AIK's Julien Staffelbach nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gregor Kobel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-5. Gregor Kobel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arvid Carlsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
