The supporters of Espen Steelers booed when BEIJO CARNAVAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 10 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Abilio didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to BEIJO CARNAVAL getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gerardo Abilio hit a great ball. Gregor Kobel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alonzo Lazcano in the 18th minute of the match. In the 18th minute Alonzo Lazcano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gregor Kobel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alain Berset got free with Godfredo Abarca in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 23rd minute Espen Steelers were awarded a corner. Williams Imholz went to the cornerflag to take it. The throw-in from Gerardo Abilio in the 31st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Espen Steelers's Tobie Canclini. Alain Berset sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Alain Berset could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 32nd minute of the match, but Godfredo Abarca made a huge save. Gregor Kobel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alonzo Lazcano, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. BEIJO CARNAVAL's defense didn't have a chance, in the 37th minute, when Alain Berset scored to the left of an out of position Godfredo Abarca, making the score, 1-0. In the 41st minute, Marco Odermatt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 42nd minute, Alonzo Lazcano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Alonzo Lazcano made a kick off. After 53 minutes, Alain Berset made it 2-0 with a short kick to the right side. BEIJO CARNAVAL's Godfredo Abarca tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot.
