An unexpectedly hard shot by Arvid Carlsson in the 15th minute of play forced FC Pegasas Siauliai's goalkeeper Pavel Romanescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 17th minute, Joakim Mikaelsson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Linköpings AIK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as 孟振邦 kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jimmy Olsson. Through an outstanding action, after 40 minutes, Jimmy Olsson successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jimmy Olsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lukas Liaudanskas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nils Svensson hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

52 minutes into the match, FC Pegasas Siauliai's goal looked a bit too open when Arvid Carlsson came free, but Pavel Romanescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Joakim Mikaelsson took a quick shot and it went in 1-3 without a chance for Pavel Romanescu to make any attempt to save it. 孟振邦 sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. The long shot by Jan-Erik Lundqvist in the 72nd minute really tested Pavel Romanescu's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when George Gunnarsson got free with Pavel Romanescu in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to FC Pegasas Siauliai getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Pierre Lyngdal hit a great ball. Pavel Romanescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Albin Nilsson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Pavel Romanescu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Albin Nilsson in the 82nd minute of play. FC Pegasas Siauliai's Pavel Romanescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Albin Nilsson in the 87th minute of play. After 89 minutes FC Pegasas Siauliai's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Jan-Erik Lundqvist who took care of the corner kick.
