Leal Simões tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 6 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Valadão came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The throw-in from Christian Szumlanski in the 10th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Valencia CF Mindszent's Christos Xenidis. Gábor Joó scored 1-0 in the 11th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leal Simões, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gábor Joó in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leal Simões prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rene Higuita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Valadão in the 21st minute of play. 21 minutes in the game, Paulo Valadão dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. Leal Simões showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gábor Joó, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 27th match minute, KINGS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arias Navas to maneuver through the defense. Rene Higuita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zoltán Tálas in the 37th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Acun Mertkal during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 45th minute Gábor Joó shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leal Simões saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th minute, KINGS FC's Mateus Martins seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mateus Martins the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of KINGS FC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mateus Martins had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. KINGS FC:s Leal Simões showed great skill when he stopped Octav Blănaru:s penalty. 2-0 came in the 49th minute when Octav Blănaru all by himself managed to get straight through the defense and place the ball into the net to the right of Leal Simões.

The wind increased when Gábor Joó made the kick off in the second half. Paulo Valadão might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Higuita. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paulo Valadão ran back to his position shaking his head. 70 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Valadão came free, but Rene Higuita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Szumlanski hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Valencia CF Mindszent's Elek Bognár was substituted for Marcell Kiss. KINGS FC's Cássio Calçada was substituted for Jānis Blūms. Valencia CF Mindszent's Konstantin Fitos was substituted for Gábor Joó. 74 minutes into the match, KINGS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Konstantin Fitos came free, but Leal Simões reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Valencia CF Mindszent's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Octav Blănaru in the 76th minute. The corner led Valencia CF Mindszent's Octav Blănaru to fire away a dangerous shot which Leal Simões despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. The supporters of KINGS FC booed when Valencia CF Mindszent was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maurício Monsanto didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Rene Higuita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paulo Valadão. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zoltán Tálas got free with Rene Higuita in the 94th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 98 minutes in the game Acun Mertkal did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Zoltán Tálas.
