In the 10th minute, Gábor Joó ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Baldomiro Txindoki was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rene Higuita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Orçun Yalınalp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gábor Joó got free with Baldomiro Txindoki in the 13th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gábor Joó in the 17thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Gábor Joó sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gábor Joó in the 19th minute of play. Valencia CF Mindszent's Gábor Joó got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gábor Joó might have been able to make a better finish in the 32nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Baldomiro Txindoki. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gábor Joó ran back to his position shaking his head. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Petrică Cândreanu was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rene Higuita in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 37th minute, Gábor Joó made a precise shot to the right of Baldomiro Txindoki. FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-0. 41 minutes into the match, Gábor Joó notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki. Baldomiro Txindoki was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Qian Chao Tian took the ball and in the 45 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Rene Higuita. Rene Higuita dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Orçun Yalınalp to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Rene Higuita had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Qian Chao Tian. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orçun Yalınalp in the 56th minute of play forced Valencia CF Mindszent's goalkeeper Rene Higuita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Valencia CF Mindszent's Gábor Joó nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Konstantin Fitos's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baldomiro Txindoki read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 77th minute of play. Baldomiro Txindoki came out of the goal in the 80th minute to try and stop a shot by Valencia CF Mindszent's Konstantin Fitos. But to his dismay, Konstantin Fitos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-1. If Konstantin Fitos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The corner ended in Octav Blănaru almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but FC UNIREA Alba Iulia's Baldomiro Txindoki did a great save. Valencia CF Mindszent's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
