Jacobo Urdin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Jacob Albuquerque could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Robin Sharma made a huge save. 23 minutes into the match, Karol Panasewicz had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jacobo Urdin. La Candela FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Karol Panasewicz was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. After 29 minutes, Karol Panasewicz made it 0-4 with a short kick to the right side. La Candela FC's Jacobo Urdin tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 33 minutes into the match, Blue Mountain State's Nicolas De la Cruz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jacobo Urdin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the final whistle sounded Blue Mountain State left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Candela FC.
