Verwachting's Herbert Hilhorst played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Türkeş Uğuralp in the 7th minute of play. 8 minutes in the game Oliver van Kampen did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Adriaan Kuypers. Herbert Hilhorst showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Türkeş Akşit in the 10th minute of the match. Herbert Hilhorst made an important save on a dangerous shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 17th minute. Verwachting's defense didn't have a chance, in the 21st minute, when Türkeş Akşit scored to the left of an out of position Herbert Hilhorst, making the score, 2-0. If Uygar Orhan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Türkeş Akşit's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Herbert Hilhorst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Türkeş Akşit in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Herbert Hilhorst prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Zhu Ao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Christijan Schreuder in the 31st minute of the match. In the 31stth minute of the game Christijan Schreuder who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Andırın SK's Zhu Ao was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 35th minute Ruud Geels shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zhu Ao saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Türkeş Akşit in the 37th minute of play forced Verwachting's goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Türkeş Akşit's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Herbert Hilhorst was relentless in the 37th minute of the game. Uygar Orhan was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. The Andırın SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Herbert Hilhorst showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Türkeş Akşit, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. 60 minutes into the match, Türkeş Akşit had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Hilhorst. Verwachting's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Türkeş Akşit was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. Zhu Ao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Twan Hesseling in the 65th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Andırın SK's Türkeş Akşit sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Herbert Hilhorst narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Andırın SK's Batıhan Saik was substituted for Uygar Orhan. Andırın SK's Ahmet Arif Yönet was substituted for Türkeş Akşit. Huib Staarman made in the 71st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Andırın SK's Naci Tansu. Batıhan Saik scored 5-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Herbert Hilhorst, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 92 played minutes, Andırın SK's Rahim İskender shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Herbert Hilhorst came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andırın SK reached it. In the 95th minute, Batıhan Saik made a precise shot to the right of Herbert Hilhorst. Verwachting's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-0. Andırın SK's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
