CERRO PORTEÑO's attentive Edward Spets managed to snatch the ball when Nils-Emil Finman made a throw-in in the 9th minute of the game. Jorden Blomme's late challenge caught a CERRO PORTEÑO's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jorden Blomme helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Ninjas FK's Jorden Blomme got a free kick in the 9th minute. Mohieddine Ayari sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mohieddine Ayari in the 18th minute of play forced Ninjas FK's goalkeeper Gösta Andreasson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 20th minute Torbjörn Grep shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jiang Lei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Jiang Lei made an important save on a dangerous shot by Torbjörn Grep in the 22nd minute. If Jorden Blomme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute, Mohieddine Ayari got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 33rd minute, Nils-Emil Finman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 44 minutes into the game, Mohieddine Ayari cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Gösta Andreasson was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Torbjörn Grep was the one to do the kick off. CERRO PORTEÑO's Jiang Lei played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Torbjörn Grep in the 56th minute of play. In the 57th minute Mohieddine Ayari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 60th minute of the match, Moreno Martins tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gösta Andreasson saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mohieddine Ayari in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gösta Andreasson saved Ninjas FK from getting behind. Jiang Lei took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Torbjörn Grep, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mohieddine Ayari's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gösta Andreasson read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 80th minute of play. Anti Alla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jiang Lei having to interfere. In the 86th minute Mohieddine Ayari shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gösta Andreasson saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gösta Andreasson was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Mohieddine Ayari capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Mohieddine Ayari really showed his touch with that goal: 0-2. The CERRO PORTEÑO players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
