An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlos Duarte in the 4th minute of play forced Atlético Montserrat's goalkeeper Mickaël Landreau to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A throw-in in the 6th minute of the game was made by Salvador Orlanda with Segundo Belarmo as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Mickaël Landreau didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Medárd Horváth went, in the 8th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by 崔光笑 in the 10th minute of play forced Coice de Mula's goalkeeper Gianluigi Orange to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Medárd Horváth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mickaël Landreau having to interfere. Mickaël Landreau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Medárd Horváth, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 18th minute, Medárd Horváth left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Coice de Mula fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. In the 29thth minute of the game Qu Sen Yan who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Coice de Mula's Gianluigi Orange was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 33rd minute Coice de Mula were awarded a corner. Maximo Perojo went to the cornerflag to take it. Gianluigi Orange showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 崔光笑 in the 40th minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Medárd Horváth in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mickaël Landreau prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 46th minute, Medárd Horváth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The wind increased when Medárd Horváth made the kick off in the second half. Coice de Mula's Gianluigi Orange played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 崔光笑 in the 54th minute of play. In the 56th minute Medárd Horváth shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Landreau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 59th minute, Anastasio Rito hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mickaël Landreau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Medárd Horváth in the 64th minute of play. Gianluigi Orange made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Qu Sen Yan in the 66th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Qu Sen Yan in the 66th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gianluigi Orange prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Gianluigi Orange took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Skröder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 74 minutes, Medárd Horváth managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Coice de Mula's supporters crossed their fingers, but Medárd Horváth was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Coice de Mula's Vincent 诸葛亮 was substituted for Allan Sandström. Coice de Mula's Dennis Giusti was substituted for Carlos Duarte. Qu Sen Yan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 77th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 87th minute Vincent 诸葛亮 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mickaël Landreau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Atlético Montserrat's Mickaël Landreau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vincent 诸葛亮 in the 89th minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Coice de Mula's goal looked a bit too open when Michael Owen came free, but Gianluigi Orange reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atlético Montserrat's Mickaël Landreau proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Atlético Montserrat from getting a goal against them. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Atlético Montserrat's goalie and right to Felice Cavallaro. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Atlético Montserrat's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Coice de Mula eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
