In the 18th minute, TALLERES DE CBA's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Domingos Santiago fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Mieszko Karanowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernardo Perutxo in the 19th minute of the match. Domingos Santiago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Segundo Nuñez made an important save on a dangerous shot by Murillo do Valle in the 24th minute. TALLERES DE CBA's Segundo Nuñez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexandre Alves in the 37th minute of play. Murillo do Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mieszko Karanowski showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Perutxo, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute.

Serafino Firme kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. In the 52nd minute of the match Eliseu Fantini sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Segundo Nuñez skillfully saved the ball. If Umberto Antunes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
