With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ralph Sanger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 37th minute Gerry Fleischer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 贺悦战 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Arndt Moschen got free with 贺悦战 in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 42nd minute, 宋军锋 hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 贺悦战 made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerry Fleischer in the 44th minute.
