Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Silvio Pfeifer in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Igor Brandenberg prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ralph Sanger showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frasier Huber in the 20th minute of the match. In the 20thth minute of the game Frasier Huber who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but B O B I S A's Ralph Sanger was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Ralph Sanger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Frasier Huber, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Frasier Huber managed to get in a good position for a shot. SalentoUnited's supporters rose to their feet, but Frasier Huber was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ralph Sanger breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 44 played minutes SalentoUnited got a freekick which was hit by John Helgason. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Gerry Fleischer made the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ergincan Suerkan got free with Ralph Sanger in the 50th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Frasier Huber could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 53rd minute of the match, but Ralph Sanger made a huge save. The supporters of SalentoUnited booed when B O B I S A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 59 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arndt Moschen didn't get a good kick on the ball. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over B O B I S A's much stronger midfield.
