Marcos Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Lapadula, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Jerzy Dudek showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dario Alegría, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. In the 17th minute Gianluca Lapadula shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Buffon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marcos Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Mondrowski in the 19th minute of the match. KS Bukowe were awarded a corner in the 20th minute after AVAÍ F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Wieslaw Czajka took the corner. The corner led to KS Bukowe's Cankut Urgun getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. In the 22nd minute, Dario Alegría got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cankut Urgun in the 25th minute of play forced AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Buffon to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of AVAÍ F.C. booed when KS Bukowe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Mondrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Gianluca Lapadula's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marcos Buffon was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Marcos Buffon came out of the goal in the 41st minute to try and stop a shot by KS Bukowe's Gianluca Lapadula. But to his dismay, Gianluca Lapadula quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. After 46 played minutes KS Bukowe got a freekick which was hit by Marian Mondrowski. Jerzy Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dario Alegría, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The AVAÍ F.C. players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. KS Bukowe were winning 0-2.
The wind increased when Gianluca Lapadula made the kick off in the second half. After 52 minutes, Tobiasz Moryl mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the KS Bukowe and the AVAÍ F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to KS Bukowe getting a freekick after 52 minutes play. Gianluca Lapadula received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcos Buffon came out and tried to block the shot, but Gianluca Lapadula slotted it home off the left post making it 0-3 in the 59th minute. After a defensive mix-up in AVAÍ F.C.'s zone, Gianluca Lapadula stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcos Buffon came out of the goal and Gianluca Lapadula tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. AVAÍ F.C.'s Claus Van De Wiele was substituted for Luiz Pombal. AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper couldn't reach when Gianluca Lapadula 65 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-4. 72 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Gianluca Lapadula came free, but Marcos Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marcos Buffon dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. Jerzy Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claus Van De Wiele in the 87th minute of the match. In the 91st minute the ball was on its way in behind KS Bukowe's goalkeeper Jerzy Dudek, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Jerzy Dudek came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by AVAÍ F.C.'s Claus Van De Wiele. But to his dismay, Claus Van De Wiele quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-5. The AVAÍ F.C. supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching KS Bukowe's performance. The match ended with a win for KS Bukowe.
