Marcos Buffon was a little too slow when Elias Oihenarte got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 9th minute. The score was now 1-0. 14 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goalkeeper Marcos Buffon had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Elias Oihenarte. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Elias Oihenarte in the 17th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marcos Buffon saved AVAÍ F.C. from getting behind. After having played for 22 minutes, Elias Oihenarte managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mystyc FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Elias Oihenarte was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Elias Oihenarte might have been able to make a better finish in the 24th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marcos Buffon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elias Oihenarte ran back to his position shaking his head. 24 minutes into the match, AVAÍ F.C.'s goal looked a bit too open when Elias Oihenarte came free, but Marcos Buffon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Elias Oihenarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elias Oihenarte could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Marcos Buffon made a huge save. Marcos Buffon made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elias Oihenarte in the 30th minute. If Elias Oihenarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Mystyc FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dario Alegría came free, but Modesto Roldanillo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Mystyc FC's Elias Oihenarte slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marcos Buffon. That made the score 3-0 after 41 minutes of play. In the 46th minute, Elias Oihenarte got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elias Oihenarte to make the kick off. After 58 minutes, Manfredo Gerber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the AVAÍ F.C. and the Mystyc FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Manfredo Gerber kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Marcos Buffon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elias Oihenarte, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. A collision led to Mystyc FC getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Elias Oihenarte hit a great ball. AVAÍ F.C. made a substitution. Claus Van De Wiele replaced Luiz Pombal. Mystyc FC's Alvaro Morata was substituted for Elias Oihenarte. Mystyc FC made a substitution. Pastor Bras replaced Caner Erkin. Elias Oihenarte kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After a rather tough play, AVAÍ F.C.'s Dario Alegría got a free kick in the 65th minute. Marcos Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Emmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 87 played minutes AVAÍ F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Manfredo Gerber. Behçet Bostancıoğlu shot from long distance after 88 played minutes, a shot that Marcos Buffon with certain difficulty stopped from going in under the crossbar. Marcos Buffon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pastor Bras in the 90th minute of the match. Marcos Buffon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fidel Emmanuel, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mystyc FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 93rd minute, when Rubens Cabral scored to the left of an out of position Modesto Roldanillo, making the score, 3-1. Marcos Buffon didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alvaro Morata went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score.
