Gianluca Lapadula might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bran Allison. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gianluca Lapadula ran back to his position shaking his head. Bran Allison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gianluca Lapadula, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. A hard shot 25 in the game by Maurinho Trezeguet from a close distance when the talented Jerzy Dudek managed to make a qualified save. KS Bukowe's players were relieved. The supporters of Cactos booed when KS Bukowe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marian Mondrowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricki Dresager in the 27th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jerzy Dudek saved KS Bukowe from getting behind. Bran Allison showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cankut Urgun, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. Jerzy Dudek made an important save on a dangerous shot by Peter Bagge in the 31st minute. Jerzy Dudek took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Coronel Camba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricki Dresager received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Jerzy Dudek tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianluca Lapadula in the 88th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Bran Allison prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jerzy Dudek showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Coronel Camba in the 89th minute of the match. Luisinho Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Despite being the better team, Cactos failed to find the winning goal and were forced to settle for a single point.
