The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 6 played minutes De Boedo Vengo got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Arano. When the match had gone on for 10 minutes, Lisandro Roderigo took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Joel Tolsson to make any attempt to save it. In the 13th minute Tage Brodin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wawrzyniec Charamut saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Håkan Eklund hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Joel Tolsson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Gheară in the 19th minute of the match. Joel Tolsson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Felix Asier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of De Boedo Vengo booed when BK Värdsholmen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tage Brodin didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Bo-Erik Grelsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Wawrzyniec Charamut was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. Roy Hamberg hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. 41 minutes into the match, De Boedo Vengo's Lisandro Roderigo sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Joel Tolsson narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The corner led BK Värdsholmen's Tage Brodin to fire away a dangerous shot which Wawrzyniec Charamut despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Roger Norberg made the kick off in the second half. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vicente Arano during the 54th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 56th minute, Lisandro Roderigo left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Boedo Vengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bo-Erik Grelsson got free with Wawrzyniec Charamut in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vicente Arano in the 65th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Joel Tolsson prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Martin Vallgren during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Martin Vallgren hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, De Boedo Vengo's Lisandro Roderigo tried to score from far away in the 71st minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Felix Asier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joel Tolsson having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Vicente Arano left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The De Boedo Vengo fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. Bo-Erik Grelsson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Wawrzyniec Charamut tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 81st minute, Lisandro Roderigo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of BK Värdsholmen booed when De Boedo Vengo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 91st minute, Felix Asier ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Joel Tolsson was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. In the 94th minute, BK Värdsholmen's Kent Törnblom seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Kent Törnblom the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of BK Värdsholmen protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Kent Törnblom had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. A collision led to BK Värdsholmen getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Kent Törnblom hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 96th minute, Lisandro Roderigo managed to get in a good position for a shot. De Boedo Vengo's supporters rose to their feet, but Lisandro Roderigo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joel Tolsson breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. De Boedo Vengo fully deserved thier win.
