Gu Yi Yuan who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 9thth minute tested the skills of Budi Martines when he managed to save the team from getting behind. MegaFenerbahce were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Camarón Bombay's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Fabio Mancinelli took the corner. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Gu Yi Yuan put it in 1-1 from a short distance just to the right of Budi Martines. Atay Türegün made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Marcelino Gartzen in the 28th minute of play. After 30 minutes Camarón Bombay's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fabio Mancinelli who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Fabio Mancinelli almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Camarón Bombay's Budi Martines did a great save. In the 34th minute, Dieguito Riquelme left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camarón Bombay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. It seemed to be an obvious goal in the 40th minute, but Budi Martines got his fingers on the ball or the save, leaving Camarón Bombay hanging dry this time. With a little luck, Camarón Bombay's Budi Martines got control of the ball when Gu Yi Yuan tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of MegaFenerbahce booed when Camarón Bombay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Roderigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Gu Yi Yuan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Budi Martines prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 58 minutes into the match, Camarón Bombay's goal looked a bit too open when Marco Servando came free, but Budi Martines reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Atay Türegün showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pierluigi Casiraghi, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. In the 68th minute of the match Fabio Mancinelli shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Budi Martines showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Atay Türegün took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pierluigi Casiraghi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The MegaFenerbahce fans cheered their team off the field, for while Camarón Bombay had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
