Patagonia's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Szymon Jaszyna in the 5th minute. Ludwig Wassenius was in a good position and managed to take a shot, but he missed just to the outside of the post. After 7 minutes of play, A.C. Patagonia's Dariusz Wos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristide Beșliu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristide Beșliu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcin Cebula in the 12th minute of the match. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Honung's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Szymon Jaszyna was slow to take the kick. During this time A.C. Patagonia's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to A.C. Patagonia getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Dariusz Wos hit a great ball. The free kick resulted in a very good chance to score when Dariusz Wos kicked a really tricky shot on goal. Aristide Beșliu never had to step in, however, because the ball went just left of the goal. Dariusz Wos's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Aristide Beșliu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Håkan Šuker in the 19th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Peter Schmeichel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Honung's Håkan Šuker in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye A.C. Patagonia's goalie prevented a goal. Ludwig Wassenius scored 2-0 in the 20th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aristide Beșliu, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Honung's attentive Christoffer Axelsson managed to snatch the ball when Demy Vennegoor made a throw-in in the 23rd minute of the game. 32 minutes into the match, Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ludwig Wassenius. Honung's Aristide Beșliu proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Honung from getting a goal against them. Alfredo Piermattei hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Håkan Šuker took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Peter Schmeichel. Peter Schmeichel dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-1. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ludwig Wassenius got free with Aristide Beșliu in the 43rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Marcin Cebula came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the A.C. Patagonia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcin Cebula couldn't finish the play. Demy Vennegoor charged in rather forcefully in the 47th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Demy Vennegoor the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, A.C. Patagonia's Demy Vennegoor got a free kick in the 47th minute. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Håkan Šuker stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Honung's Aristide Beșliu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcin Cebula in the 55th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marcin Cebula in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Beșliu saved Honung from getting behind. A.C. Patagonia's Gustav Siöman was substituted for Ludwig Wassenius. Honung made a substitution. Simon Lertora replaced Håkan Šuker. A.C. Patagonia's Aldo Di Carlo was substituted for Dariusz Wos. A.C. Patagonia's Sylwester Sroka was substituted for Marcin Cebula. Honung's Johan Kilström managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Amerigo Ianni in the 62 minute of the game. If Angel Lehoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 69 minutes into the match, Honung's goal looked a bit too open when Gustav Siöman came free, but Aristide Beșliu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 70th minute Simon Lertora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Peter Schmeichel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Angel Lehoi in the 72nd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gustav Siöman in the 76th minute of play forced Honung's goalkeeper Aristide Beșliu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute Simon Lertora shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Peter Schmeichel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aristide Beșliu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gustav Siöman in the 81st minute of play. King Puck hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After some careless play in the Honung defense, Aldo Di Carlo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aristide Beșliu. The Honung fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aristide Beșliu should have stopped the shot. After 86 played minutes A.C. Patagonia got a freekick which was hit by Damian Pluciennik. With an all-out effort, Honung's Peter Schmeichel threw himself towards the right post 88 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Simon Lertora, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. 89 minutes had been played when some careless play by A.C. Patagonia's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. King Puck was slow to take the kick. During this time Honung's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Honung's corner King Puck fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Peter Schmeichel quite easily take care of the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Honung's Simon Lertora sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Peter Schmeichel narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Angel Lehoi's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Peter Schmeichel firmly grabbed it by the left post. A.C. Patagonia's Peter Schmeichel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 95th minute of the match, managed to save A.C. Patagonia from getting a goal against them. Honung's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
