The corner led San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Baltasar Bartoleme to fire away a dangerous shot which Mădălin Lunca despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 19 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Benjamin da Fonseca came free, but Lester Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 23rd minute Benjamin da Fonseca shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lester Serre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The San Lorenzo de Sarandi fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lester Serre should have stopped the shot. Lester Serre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Benjamin da Fonseca in the 30th minute of play. 31 minutes into the match, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goal looked a bit too open when Ştefan Frunză came free, but Lester Serre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca in the 47th minute got a chance for a shot 47th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye San Lorenzo de Sarandi's goalie prevented a goal. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Leonides Rosio was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Pesqueira City's José Pedro Borges got a free kick in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, José Pedro Borges hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mădălin Lunca took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ivan Errando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Cui Ling Jing kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Lester Serre. That made the score 0-4 in the 64 minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Prospero Mergildo in the 69th minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pesqueira City's Mădălin Lunca played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lorenzo Jerrold in the 71st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Sarandi's zone, Cui Ling Jing stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lester Serre came out of the goal and Cui Ling Jing tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Pesqueira City's Cristiano Bezerra was substituted for Ştefan Frunză. Pesqueira City made a substitution. Sebastião Quintal replaced Josué Vaz. 78 minutes into the game, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Lester Serre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. After a defensive mix-up in San Lorenzo de Sarandi's zone, Benjamin da Fonseca stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mădălin Lunca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Errando in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Pesqueira City's goal looked a bit too open when Prospero Mergildo came free, but Mădălin Lunca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo de Sarandi's Anastasio Gorbea got a free kick in the 88th minute. After 92 minutes of play, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca made it 0-6 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Lester Serre was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Ivan Errando in the 96th minute of play forced Pesqueira City's goalkeeper Mădălin Lunca to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Pesqueira City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
