Ştefan Frunză who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 27thth minute tested the skills of Vincent Aalberts when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Benjamin da Fonseca in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vincent Aalberts prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Sebastião Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Vincent Aalberts tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Sebastião Quintal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Vincent Aalberts made a huge save. After 45 played minutes Pesqueira City got a freekick which was hit by Ionuț Iniesta. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Vincent Aalberts didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pesqueira City. The Vincent Aalberts was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. 90 minutes into the game, Pesqueira City's Benjamin da Fonseca nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Vincent Aalberts made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. If Rigan Frankson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Pesqueira City had played much better football throughout.
