Neal Weatherby fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mao Si having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Elderslie Magpies's goal looked a bit too open when Dabi Vila came free, but Christian Kerville reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 9 minutes, Pablo-Enrique Alabern managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ovidio Etxekopar's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mao Si read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 31st minute of play. Rick Souness kicked well hit freekick during the 35th minute of the match. Steven Chaptal was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 37th minute. Elderslie Magpies's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Sam Mccartan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mao Si tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Christian Kerville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nereo Cacheres, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. This resulted in a 0-5 score and a disappointed Christian Kerville as he didn't even see the shot coming. After a defensive mix-up in Elderslie Magpies's zone, Dabi Vila stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Christian Kerville came out of the goal and Dabi Vila tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mao Si took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rick Souness, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 71 minutes had been played when some careless play by Los once leones Ourense's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Rick Souness was slow to take the kick. During this time Elderslie Magpies's players had a chance to rest. Elderslie Magpies's Rick Souness was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Mao Si in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind Elderslie Magpies's goalkeeper Christian Kerville, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Earl Prince's late challenge caught a Los once leones Ourense's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. After taking down the ball on Los once leones Ourense's corner Urdin Castan fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Christian Kerville quite easily take care of the ball. Christian Kerville showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pablo-Enrique Alabern in the 88th minute of the match. Christian Kerville made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dabi Vila in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Steven Chaptal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Christian Kerville came out of the goal in the 95th minute to try and stop a shot by Los once leones Ourense's Nereo Cacheres. But to his dismay, Nereo Cacheres quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6.
