In the 3rd match minute, Diamante Negro DK - VV was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Willian Félix to maneuver through the defense. Nelson Abraão charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Nelson Abraão the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tana Rede received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Rogério Ceni tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 13 minutes into the match, Granadero10's goal looked a bit too open when Hugo Zonta came free, but Alfredinho Cavalcante reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Willian Félix in the 16th minute of play forced Granadero10's goalkeeper Alfredinho Cavalcante to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifaco Elenes, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Júlio Valladares kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute Granadero10 were awarded a corner. Vítor Antunes went to the cornerflag to take it. Granadero10's Vítor Antunes was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Rogério Ceni in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. When Villarreal Ubach came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Diamante Negro DK - VV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Villarreal Ubach couldn't finish the play. Alfredinho Cavalcante made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Villarreal Ubach in the 37th minute of play. Alfredinho Cavalcante showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bonifaco Elenes, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. In the 42nd minute, Hugo Zonta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Rogério Ceni proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 45th minute of the match, managed to save Diamante Negro DK - VV from getting a goal against them. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Fredrik Masculier in the 52nd minute of play forced Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 54 minutes into the match, Tana Rede had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Rogério Ceni. Diamante Negro DK - VV's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tana Rede was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. After 58 minutes of play, Granadero10's Tana Rede made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Rogério Ceni was left in no man's land by his defense there! Umberto Lara hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. Rogério Ceni showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tana Rede in the 73rd minute of the match. The audience was convinced that Tana Rede's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Ceni was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tana Rede in the 74th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rogério Ceni prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rogério Ceni came out of the goal in the 77th minute to try and stop a shot by Granadero10's Severino Messias. But to his dismay, Severino Messias quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Granadero10 made a substitution. Norberto Simão replaced Vítor Antunes. Diamante Negro DK - VV's Sidney de Queirós was substituted for Willian Félix. Granadero10 made a substitution. Erick Cavero replaced Laerte Soeiro. Rogério Ceni took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Norberto Simão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 87 minutes into the match, Diamante Negro DK - VV's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Messias came free, but Rogério Ceni reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Granadero10 booed when Diamante Negro DK - VV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 89 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enio Lopez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 90 minutes into the match, Granadero10's Tana Rede broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. With a little luck, Granadero10's Alfredinho Cavalcante got control of the ball when Wiliam Perez tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Granadero10 were victorious despite being under pressure from Diamante Negro DK - VV for much of the match.
