Mariusz Kaleta ran over to the corner to take the kick. If Natalio Guter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Diamante Negro DK - VV defense, Natalio Guter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rogério Ceni. The Diamante Negro DK - VV fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rogério Ceni should have stopped the shot. The audience was convinced that Natalio Guter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Rogério Ceni was relentless in the 20th minute of the game. Rogério Ceni showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Natalio Guter, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. André Luís Valladares's late challenge caught a Diamante Negro DK - VV's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. André Luís Valladares helped the player get up and apologised. A throw-in in the 45th minute of the game was made by Christian Antonelli with Wiliam Perez as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Wiliam Perez made a kick off. Gwidon Furtok made in the 51st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Diamante Negro DK - VV's Jerônimo Salles. Hugo Zonta came free in the 55th minute and tried to tip the ball over Emilio Shepherd, but to the joy of KN ZGORZELEC's supporters the ball went over. Bonifaco Elenes hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. After 63 minutes Diamante Negro DK - VV's goalkeeper Rogério Ceni managed, with a little bit of luck, save Natalio Guter's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. In the 68th minute, Natalio Guter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Diamante Negro DK - VV booed when KN ZGORZELEC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 69 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ermegildo Tulio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rogério Ceni made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Natalio Guter in the 86th minute of play. Natalio Guter might have been able to make a better finish in the 88th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rogério Ceni. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Natalio Guter ran back to his position shaking his head. KN ZGORZELEC were delighted with the way they had won the match. They had held their defensive line well and made the most of their chances, to claim a victory over Diamante Negro DK - VV's much stronger midfield.
