The ASF BAIA MARE -MM- fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Thomás Linares should have stopped the shot. Remus Vermeşan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Toni Schumacher made a huge save. Thomás Linares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Richard Fredriksson in the 19th minute of play. In the 24th minute, Richard Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomás Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. In the 26th minute, Zdzislaw Rekowski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s zone, Richard Fredriksson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Thomás Linares came out of the goal and Richard Fredriksson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 31 minutes into the match, Richard Fredriksson notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomás Linares. Thomás Linares was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Remus Vermeşan's late challenge caught a FC Bullen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Remus Vermeşan helped the player get up and apologised. Remus Vermeşan hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Richard Fredriksson's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Thomás Linares read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. The supporters of FC Bullen booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dorin Caloian didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 42nd minute, Richard Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomás Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-5. Richard Fredriksson struck a weak shot in the 47th minute. Thomás Linares didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Bullen. After the first half FC Bullen were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Richard Fredriksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Thomás Linares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Richard Fredriksson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 61 minutes into the game, Celsinho Pereira threw the ball into play from the sideline. FC Bullen's Verner Hägert quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Thomás Linares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Richard Fredriksson in the 66th minute of the match. ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s Thomás Linares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Richard Fredriksson in the 69th minute of play. In the 73rd minute, Richard Fredriksson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomás Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-6. The supporters of FC Bullen booed when ASF BAIA MARE -MM- was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Huștiu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 79th minute, Philip Drake ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Thomás Linares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. After 83 played minutes ASF BAIA MARE -MM- got a freekick which was hit by Zdzislaw Rekowski. Thomás Linares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Philip Drake, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. FC Bullen were awarded a corner in the 85th minute after ASF BAIA MARE -MM-'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kurt Pååk took the corner. It was a well-played corner which Roland Topp managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. A collision led to ASF BAIA MARE -MM- getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Victor Huștiu hit a great ball. When the match was over FC Bullen could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than ASF BAIA MARE -MM- throughout the match.
