Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Erasmo Lorencio took the kick off in the first half of the match. SC Braga's Benjamin de Lara shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 6th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Severino Hulberto but with some difficulty. 9 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Rivermania FC's Severino Hulberto. Severino Hulberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Severino Hulberto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zigmantas Gimbutas in the 15th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Zigmantas Gimbutas notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Rivermania FC's Severino Hulberto. Severino Hulberto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rosendo Flor in the 19th minute of play forced SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 24th minute, Rosendo Flor left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rivermania FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. In the 31st minute of the match Victor Bazkoare shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Laçın Cumayev showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 32 minutes into the game, SC Braga's Zigmantas Gimbutas nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Severino Hulberto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Erasmo Lorencio in the 36th minute of play. The throw-in from Abuy Husodo in the 40th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by SC Braga's Valdomiro Lira. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The supporters of SC Braga booed when Rivermania FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Victor Bazkoare didn't get a good kick on the ball. 63 minutes into the match, SC Braga's goalkeeper Laçın Cumayev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rosendo Flor. In the 65th minute Rivermania FC were awarded a corner. Victor Bazkoare went to the cornerflag to take it. Victor Bazkoare made a great header on Rivermania FC's corner, it was just that SC Braga's Laçın Cumayev managed to reach the ball for a save. Jacobo Santxol received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Laçın Cumayev came out and tried to block the shot, but Jacobo Santxol slotted it home off the left post making it 3-2 in the 66th minute. SC Braga's Antonio Cieri was substituted for Benjamin de Lara. SC Braga made a substitution. Stig-Åke Mattsson replaced Zigmantas Gimbutas. In the 76th match minute, SC Braga was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Stig-Åke Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. Rivermania FC made a substitution. Ana Tatangelo replaced Erasmo Lorencio. Rivermania FC's Teodoro Foro was substituted for Amado Cuartio. After 78 played minutes SC Braga got a freekick which was hit by Stig-Åke Mattsson. In the 86th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rivermania FC's goalkeeper Severino Hulberto, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 90 minutes into the match, Rosendo Flor dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Laçın Cumayev, 3-3. 93 minutes into the match, SC Braga's Stig-Åke Mattsson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Severino Hulberto narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 95 minutes had been played when some careless play by Rivermania FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jon-Egil Sætre was slow to take the kick. During this time SC Braga's players had a chance to rest. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ana Tatangelo in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Laçın Cumayev saved SC Braga from getting behind. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
