In the 28th minute of the match AJ Juventus FC got a corner. Holmkjar Hotspurs's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Damian Zahonero ran over to the corner to take the kick. 40 minutes into the match, AJ Juventus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Franck Lydicksen came free, but Mambru Puertas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mambru Puertas had great luck who in the 40thth minute grab hold of the ball when Franck Lydicksen from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Claes Katsir hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

AJ Juventus FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alkinoos Margaritas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. AJ Juventus FC's Vinny Speed was substituted for Leoncio Abarzua. AJ Juventus FC's Mambru Puertas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sigfrid Eildorf in the 68th minute of play. Tristan Nordlet made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Alkinoos Margaritas sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Ove Makenhauer's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mambru Puertas was relentless in the 76th minute of the game. When the match clock showed 76 minutes, the score became 3-2 when Ove Makenhauer sped through AJ Juventus FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mambru Puertas.
