The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Fábián Müller's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Julius Vanneste read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 7th minute of play. 9 minutes into the match, Újlõrincfalva LC's goal looked a bit too open when Joop Hollandts came free, but Illés Kiss reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Limburg United's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Újlõrincfalva LC's Illés Kiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joop Hollandts in the 25th minute of play. The supporters of Újlõrincfalva LC booed when Limburg United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anthony Standaerts didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 29th minute Joop Hollandts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Illés Kiss saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Illés Kiss showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anios Karaoulanis in the 36th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Dénes Kenesei during the 40th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Illés Kiss had in the 41stth minute some difficulties stopping Gunter Jansens's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. After 41 minutes of play, Limburg United's Gunter Jansens made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Illés Kiss was left in no man's land by his defense there! Illés Kiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joop Hollandts in the 46th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 51st minute Boldizsár Szabados shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julius Vanneste saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Illés Kiss showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bob Thielens, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. After a rather tough play, Újlõrincfalva LC's Márk Lehoczky got a free kick in the 55th minute. In the 58th minute, Boldizsár Szabados left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Újlõrincfalva LC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. Illés Kiss was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Bob Thielens showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 66 minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Limburg United's goal looked a bit too open when Fábián Müller came free, but Julius Vanneste reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Újlõrincfalva LC's Illés Kiss played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Thielens in the 72nd minute of play. Joop Hollandts took the ball and in the 79 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Illés Kiss. Illés Kiss dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-5. 83 minutes into the game, Joop Hollandts recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Illés Kiss. Joop Hollandts showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-6. Limburg United were awarded a corner in the 89th minute after Újlõrincfalva LC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gunter Jansens took the corner. The corner led Limburg United's Gunter Jansens to fire away a dangerous shot which Illés Kiss despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 90th minute, Luke Demarez hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 92 minutes, Márk Lehoczky managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Újlõrincfalva LC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Márk Lehoczky was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boldizsár Szabados in the 93rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Julius Vanneste prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
