An unexpectedly hard shot by Leopoldo Liberto in the 16th minute of play forced Bękarty Wojny's goalkeeper Herbert Tworek to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Boulogne del Ciclón's Daniel Moron proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Boulogne del Ciclón from getting a goal against them. Leopoldo Liberto blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Herbert Tworek having to make a save. In the 18th minute Leopoldo Liberto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herbert Tworek saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Boulogne del Ciclón defense, Bartosz Iwaszko kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Daniel Moron. Tolek Budzyn was slow to take the kick. During this time Bękarty Wojny's players had a chance to rest. The corner led to Bękarty Wojny's Fryderyk Prosowski getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. 33 minutes into the match, Leopoldo Liberto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Herbert Tworek. Bękarty Wojny's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leopoldo Liberto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. Daniel Moron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 顾强正 in the 37th minute of play. Bartosz Iwaszko could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Daniel Moron made a huge save. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Leopoldo Liberto managed to get in a good position for a shot. Boulogne del Ciclón's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Liberto was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Herbert Tworek breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Leopoldo Liberto to make the kick off.
